Towslee Clubs
Ambassador Program looks for the best in our students. This club has no dues, but a firm commitment to:
Volunteer at least two hours each month in helping others
Must be 3rd grade or older
Having good grades (Do your best!)
Having good citizenship and patriotism
Good conduct everywhere (school, playground, bus, home)

This program was put in place many years ago and has proved to showcase the excellence of students at all levels. Students demonstrate leadership skills as well as responsibility in filling out their own timesheets and handing them in themselves by the last day of each month. Students represent Towslee Elementary in the most positive way, especially as "greeters" to our various functions.
Parents and students complete an application form. The timesheets are available outside the Art Room. The timesheets are the students responsibility to complete. There is a place for adults to initial for the volunteer work done, then turn in at the end of each month.

C. R. Towslee Patriot Patrol has a year long commitment to raising and lowering our American Flag and our other school flags on a daily basis. This is an elite group of students who volunteer to do this patriotic duty. They are selected from a large group of students who volunteer at the end of the fourth grade for the following year. They must show good behavior, good citizenship, responsibility and patriotism.

Walking Club was started to help the students at Towslee become more physically active and promote good health. When students walk, they have two options. The first option is to walk around the green poles outside at recess, 8 laps equals one mile. If they are not able to go out for recess, they are allowed to walk inside the hallways throughout the building. Walking the hallways 4 times equals one mile. Every time we have a character assembly, Mr. Harrington and Mrs. Reisinger recognize the students who have walked at least 5 miles or more. The students are recognized for every five mile increment and receive a foot charm for their chain.
