2nd Grade Supply List

                   1 – large glue stick

                   1 – large pink eraser

1 – pkg. (approx. 8-12) yellow #2 pencils, sharpened.  (Please put last name on

    each pencil.)

                        1 – box crayons (16-24 only)

                        1 – box of 8 washable markers; basic, classic colors only

                        1 – box of 12 colored pencils, classic colors

                        1 – 4 oz. bottle white glue (Elmer’s Glue All is best) – NO GLUE STICKS

                        1 – pair of scissors (metal, pointed)

                        5 – plain PLASTIC bottom pocket folders

                             (one of each color: red, green, blue, yellow, purple)

                        2 – large boxes of tissues

                        2 – spiral bound notebooks (10.5” x 8”)  70 sheets

                        1 – 1” black hard sided 3-ring binder (*Bring this only if you are new to Towslee)

2 – black dry erase markers

1 – set each of addition & subtraction flashcards

1 - zippered (cosmetic type) bag approximately 8”x11” for supplies (look in

     cosmetic section of stores)

    (ALL supplies must stay in their boxes and be able to fit in the supply bag at

    one time)  NO PLASTIC BOXES

1 - backpack or book bag, without wheels

1 – box sandwich size or snack size Ziploc bags – girls only

1 – box gallon size Ziploc bags – boys only

1 – highlighter

1 – pack of 100 lined index cards (3 ½” x 5”)

1 – letter size clipboard

1 – bottle hand sanitizer

NO TRAPPER KEEPERS

 

*Each child will need a thin shower cap sealed in a Ziploc bag with their name on

 cap & bag (for use with computer headphones)

 

NO EXTRA OR ADDITIONAL SUPPLIES SUCH AS CRAYON OR PENCIL SHARPENERS. PUT YOUR CHILD’S NAME ON EVERYTHING, INCLUDING INDIVIDUAL CRAYONS, PENCILS AND MARKERS.  LEAVE THEM IN THE BOXES.

 

Music, Art & Physical Education Supplies

*Students new to Towslee only*

                                3 – 1” 3-ring binders

                        3 – 5 pack of tab dividers

                        3 – sharpened pencils

                        1 – 60 or 90-minute blank cassette tape

                        1 – paint shirt (old t-shirt).   Please no plastic or button down shirts.

                            (write name on it)

                        1 – large Ziploc bag to store art shirt

1 – pair athletic shoes  (Please – no black soles, open toes or open heels.) 

    These shoes may also be worn as school shoes.
