Kindergarten
I can show an understanding of class rules.
I can show the boundaries or limits to personal space.
I can start and stop traveling in different directions using different locomotor
movements while maintaining personal space.
First Grade
I can transfer weight from one set of body parts to another in a variety of ways.
I can balance using a variety of objects (tennis rackets, tennis balls, bean bags, balance boards,
balance beam, anything that can be used as "river rocks"( tires, dome, cones, flat circle markers),
Frisbees and lines on the floor.
I can work cooperatively in groups.
I can stop and start traveling at a given signal.
I can show the ability to stop and travel in their own self-space.
I can travel and change from one locomotor movement to another at the signal.
I can demonstrate four locomotor movements (skip, gallop, hop and run).
I can find a personal space in a defined area.

Second Grade
