Terms and Conditions:  Appropriate placement on the teacher salary schedule, 184 days due

 

Administrative Vacancy:  

Director of Technology and Information Systems

Contract: 12-month contract (260 day work year)

Salary: $89,077 - $96,669 (plus Board paid retirement)
(Salary calculation based on education and previous administrative experience in accordance with the Brunswick City School District Administrative Compensation Plan.)

Reports To: Superintendent

Community: Brunswick is a suburban community located in northern Medina County between Akron and Cleveland. The school district covers approximately 25 square miles and serves a K-12 enrollment of 7100 students in 11 schools. The faculty includes 440 licensed employees and 251 professional support staff.

Position Overview: To provide leadership for and administration of all aspects and applications of technology in the district. To research, develop, implement, and maintain optimal levels of instructional technology, technological support services, an infrastructure for technology, and data management.

Qualifications:

  1. Valid administrative certificate
  2. Master's Degree in education administration, technology, or a related area as deemed appropriate by the superintendent
  3. Five years successful employment in education or technology
  4. Five years successful administrative experience in education or technology
  5. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
