WHAT IS THE PEP BAND?

?     Description:  The Pep Band is an ensemble which directly represents the Brunswick High School Band Program.  As such, it is important that public performances be of the same high quality that has come to be expected from the other ensembles in the band department.  The Pep Band is an extra-curricular ensemble that will play “fun” and entertaining music for the crowd at home basketball games. 

?     Performance Schedule:  The Pep Band performs at all home boys basketball games.  For the schedule of events <click here>. 

?    Rehearsals:  Rehearsals take place on game nights only, just prior to the performance.  Report times will be announced throughout the season.

?     Attendance:  It is obviously important in order to represent the band program and school appropriately that we have adequate and balanced instrumentation at all times.  While you are not expected to attend every performance, we DO need to know a schedule of your commitments.
