  • Alumni Hall of Fame Applications Accepted through Feb. 24
    Nomination forms for the Brunswick City Schools Distinguished Alumni Hall of Fame (Class of 2011) are being accepted through February 24th, 2012. Nominations must have graduated at least 15 years prior to the selection date (1997 or earlier). Download the attached     form to submit your nominee. BCSD Alumni Nomination Form

  • Renewal Levy Phone Hotline Established
    A phone hotline has been established for the Brunswick Schools Renewal Levy, which is on the March 6 ballot. Contact John Wasylko, Community Relations, at (330) 273-0522 if you have questions regarding the Renewal, or would like levy signs or flyers.

  • Brunswick and Elyria Support VOFT Charity Night
     
    The Brunswick Blue Devils and the Elyria Pioneers worked collaboratively together to make the 3rd Annual VOFT Charity Night a  huge success.  The event raised over $4,000 for the Plumlee family. The Plumlee family experienced two tragic events within months of each other.  They lost both parents in separate events.   As the family continues to heal, our hope was to show our love and support as a community and a school. Not only did Brunswick want to help, but Elyria High School staff and students wanted to as well. They found out about the recipients of the event and took it upon themselves to raise money for the Plumlee Family.  Truly this shows the class, humanity, compassion and sportsmanship that embodies Elyria High.

  • BHS Students Compete at Tri-C Rock-Off
    Local Band, Copykat Crisis, competed at the Tri-C Rock-Off at the House of Blues in Cleveland. Band members include Brunswick students: Justin Miller (Base), Nick Austin (Drummer) and Garrick Koermer (Guitar, Lead Singer).

    Twenty-three students at Brunswick High School have earned Advanced Placement Scholar Awards in recognition of their exceptional achievement on AP Exams.
