PTG Announcements

  • Happy Fall !!!

    We would like to thank everyone who volunteered in some way to help make Kidstock 2014 a HUGE success!!  Thank you to our teachers and staff for all of the support you gave us for the evening.  An extra special thank you to Mrs. Daw, Ms. Peterson, Mr. Vance, Mr. Krieger, Mr. Adrovet, Mr. Athey and Mr. Gerchak for agreeing to being dunked!  We made $3120 for the event.  

    Thank you to the moms who were able to help with our first popcorn day in September.  If you signed up to help but didn't hear from us for the September day, we will be contacting you for one of the future ones.  

    Our room moms are in place and you should be getting or should have received information for your classroom party for Halloween.  The parade will start at 1:30 and the party will follow in each classroom.  Please remember Kidder is a healthy school.  Do not send in any cupcakes or cookies.  Any candy that is sent in will be put in a bag to be sent home.  District policy does not allow us to serve any homemade items.  Everything you send in must have the ingredient label on it and please nothing with peanuts.

    We will need more help with the NOVEMBER Market Day delivery which will be on November 7th.  This delivery will include the pies from the 4th grade pie sale which will take place in October.  So, if you are looking for some good pies for the upcoming holidays, please contact one of our 4th grade parents!  The money raised helps the 4th graders with their costs for Hiram House next year.

    Congratulations Mrs. Meehan on being named Kidder Teacher of the Year!  

    We are in need of a co-treasurer to serve on the board.  Please email us at if you are interested and/or need more information.

    We have made two purchases so far this year.  We have purchased a new shredder for the Kidder office and  new computer for the PTG room.  

    Upcoming October events:

    • October 7th - Market Day Pick Up 4:30-5:30 p.m.
    • October 16th - Marco's Pizza Night.  Be sure to give your teacher's name.  If you order online PTG gets 15% of sales, if you call in we get 10%
    • October 21st - General PTG Meeting 3:15 p.m.
    • October 27-31st Book Fair
    • October 29-31st Halloween Raffle, tickets sold during lunch hours
    • October 31st - Halloween Parade/classroom parties
